The "National Boshra Plan," renowned for its commitment to making the Quran accessible 'for all people, at all times, and in all places,' has marked its presence at the 31st International Holy Quran Fair.
Somayeh Omidi, the executive director of the Plan, shared insights into the program's expansive reach and impact. Since its inception in February 2021, the National Boshra Plan has conducted 83 training courses across 30 provinces, a testament to over two decades of dedicated service in Quranic education, Omidi stated.
The Plan's training courses have not only spread knowledge but also fostered employment opportunities. "Out of the 14,011 trainers who have participated, 1,099 have secured employment post-training. Furthermore, by the end of this year, we've witnessed 18,530 trainees mastering the correct recitation of the Holy Quran," Omidi added.
Highlighting the Plan's unique features, Omidi emphasized its adaptability and inclusivity. "The Plan stands out for its ease of implementation in any location, its capacity to accommodate an unlimited number of participants of any age, and the streamlined nature of its educational process," she explained.
The success of the National Boshra Plan is not confined to national borders. Omidi noted the Plan's achievements in fostering a network of Quranic learning that extends internationally. "Our efforts have not only created job opportunities for various age groups within the country but have also attracted the attention of Quranic scholars nationwide. Moreover, the Plan's implementation has crossed into countries such as Pakistan, Russia, and Iraq, garnering an international audience," she concluded.
The 31st International Holy Quran Fair opened its doors at Tehran's Imam Khomeini Mosalla on Wednesday, welcoming visitors to a spiritual and cultural journey that coincides with the Nowruz holidays.
The exhibition, which will run until April 2, invites enthusiasts to explore its offerings daily from 5:00 PM to 00:30 AM.
A key highlight of the exhibition is its family-friendly atmosphere, ensuring a welcoming space for all ages.
Additionally, the fair has arranged for Iftar tables to be set up, providing a communal space for visitors to break their fast together following the Maghrib and Isha prayers, further fostering a sense of community and shared experience during this blessed month.
The fair features various Quranic institutions and governmental bodies, as well as international participants from 25 countries. The event also highlights the issues of Gaza and Palestine and the role of the Quran in inspiring resistance.
The fair aims to familiarize people with Quranic concepts through artistic, cultural, and theatrical mediums, especially for children and teenagers. It also offers sections on artificial intelligence, Nahj al-Balaghah, Quranic research and consultation, Quran translation, and easy Quran memorization.
