The 31st International Holy Quran Fair features a substantial section dedicated to Quranic innovations, comprising numerous booths. One such booth focuses on the intersection of astronomy and the Quran.
Seyyed Yaser Sajedi,
the head of the Quranic innovations sections of the fair, shares that this
booth leverages astronomy to elucidate Quranic verses, given its universal
familiarity.
The institute
organizes educational tours to various locations, where participants learn to
observe celestial bodies such as the stars, and moon, all while focusing on
Quranic verses about creation, he said, adding that these tours often take
place in areas like deserts, and aim to introduce attendees to Quranic verses
and the magnificence of creation.
Moreover, the
institute has compiled and published books using Augmented Reality (AR)
technology, he highlighted.
These books are
designed to familiarize children and teenagers with astronomy, all through a
Quranic lens that underscores the greatness of God, he added.
The underlying
message is that God is behind this grandeur as stated in the Quran, Sajedi
said.
The exhibition also
offered attendees the unique opportunity to observe the night sky through a
telescope, free of charge, he added.
The 31st International Holy Quran Fair opened its doors at
Tehran's Imam Khomeini Mosalla on March 20, welcoming visitors to a spiritual
and cultural journey that coincides with the Nowruz holidays.
The exhibition, which will run until April 2, invites enthusiasts
to explore its offerings daily from 5:00 PM to 00:30 AM local time.

atmosphere, ensuring a welcoming space for all ages.
Additionally, the fair has arranged for Iftar tables to be
set up, providing a communal space for visitors to break their fast.
The fair features various Quranic institutions and governmental
bodies, as well as international participants from 25 countries. The also

teenagers. It also offers sections on artificial intelligence, Nahj
al-Balaghah, Quranic research and consultation, Quran translation, and easy
