Center Holds Spiritual Therapy Sessions at Quran Fair

Zahir Counseling Center affiliated with the Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research is holding spiritual therapy sessions for visitors.

Milad Osia, head of the center, said that the unique approach known as “Godly Spiritual Therapy” has been founded by Dr. Masoud Janbozuri.

“This approach, which is internationally recognized, aims to resolve issues by tapping into the spiritual dimension of individuals,” he said.

While there are numerous counseling approaches, such as those that solve problems based on childhood memories or interpersonal relationships, the spiritual dimension is also acknowledged in contemporary or Western psychology. However, it’s typically considered alongside other treatment methods, he added.

The spiritual dimension holds a unique place as it encompasses other dimensions as well, he noted. “We’re pleased to share that this approach has been well-received by clients, with many expressing interest in learning more about this type of treatment.”

According to recent statistics, the majority of questions and referrals have been related to anger management, relationships with teenagers, and couple relationships, Osia said, adding “Given the space of the exhibition and the volume of referrals, we’ve allocated 15 to 20 minutes for answering questions and providing counseling.”

The event opened its doors at Tehran's Imam Khomeini Mosalla on March 20, welcoming visitors to a spiritual and cultural journey that coincides with the Nowruz holidays.

The exhibition, which will run until April 2, invites enthusiasts to explore its offerings daily from 5:00 PM to 00:30 AM local time.

A key highlight of the exhibition is its family-friendly atmosphere, ensuring a welcoming space for all ages.

Additionally, the fair has arranged for Iftar tables to be set up, providing a communal space for visitors to break their fast.

The fair features various Quranic institutions and governmental bodies, as well as international participants from 25 countries. The also highlights the issues of Gaza and Palestine and the role of the Quran in inspiring resistance.

The fair aims to familiarize people with Quranic concepts through artistic, cultural, and theatrical mediums, especially for children and teenagers. It also offers sections on artificial intelligence, Nahj al-Balaghah, Quranic research and consultation, Quran translation, and easy Quran memorization.
