The 31st International Holy Quran Fair is adjusting its schedule during the sacred Qadr nights to accommodate special observances.
Organizers have
announced that the fair will remain open until 10 PM local time on Qadr
nights, which fall on Friday, Sunday, and Tuesday.
Visitors can
participate in special ceremonies that commence at 10 PM and continue
until midnight. These ceremonies will feature Quranic recitations,
enlightening lectures, and the reading of various supplications.
The fair, hosted at
Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Mosalla, began on March 20 and invites
visitors on a spiritual and cultural journey, coinciding with the Nowruz
holidays. This enriching exhibition will run until April 2.
Noteworthy aspects
of the fair include its family-friendly ambiance, ensuring a warm
welcome for visitors of all ages. Additionally, Iftar tables have been arranged,
providing a communal space for breaking the fast.
Beyond its cultural
and spiritual offerings, the fair showcases various Quranic institutions, governmental
bodies, and international participants from 25 countries. It also sheds
light on critical issues related to Gaza and Palestine, emphasizing the Quran’s
role in inspiring resilience and resistance.
Furthermore, the
fair aims to educate and engage attendees by exploring Quranic concepts
through artistic, cultural, and theatrical mediums. Special sections cover
topics such as artificial intelligence, Nahj al-Balaghah, Quranic research and
consultation, Quran translation, and simplified Quran memorization.
